Prominent medical experts will join the IAEA on 1 February in Vienna to mark World Cancer Day. Live video streaming will be available from 10:00 and the programme is available here.
The event, titled “Boosting Capacity for Cancer Care”, will highlight the IAEA’s integrated approach to providing Member States with know-how and support for a comprehensive approach to cancer management.
The latest technological advances in nuclear and radiation medicine to diagnose and treat cancer will also be explored.
The event’s panel discussion will also be broadcast live on Facebook from 10:30-11:30, where viewers can ask questions to panellists.
