This webinar provides participants with an understanding of what needs to be in medical exposure regulations and guides, related to nuclear medicine, to meet the requirements of the International Basic Safety Standards. Operational experience relating to the regulatory oversight of medical exposure from nuclear medicine activities (e.g. staff availability, optimisation, release of patients) will also be shared, and practical issues and challenges of registrants and licenses in their effort to comply with the medical exposure regulations in the field of nuclear medicine will be discussed.
