Databases

Body Composition (BC)

The IAEA Body Composition (BC) Database is a collection of body composition measurements made using the stable isotope method of deuterium dilution analysis.

DIrectory of RAdiotherapy Centres (DIRAC)

DIRAC is the world’s most comprehensive database on radiotherapy resources. It comprises current and historical global data on radiotherapy centres, teletherapy machines, brachytherapy units, treatment planning systems, computed tomography systems and simulators. DIRAC contains information on radiotherapy infrastructure in 141 countries. Learn more at https://www.iaea.org/resources/databases/dirac

Dosimetry Audit Networks (DAN)

The Dosimetry Audit Networks (DAN) database provides information on dosimetry audits in radiotherapy and the status of audit activities in different countries and world regions. The purpose of creating the database was to benefit both, the auditing groups, which could compare their activities and exchange their experiences, and medical physics community which would have an overview of dosimetry audits available and information how to access them. Human Milk Intake (DTM)

The IAEA database on human milk intake contains data obtained by the deuterium oxide dose-to-mother (DTM) technique. The database is a compilation of individual data from studies conducted all over the World since the DTM technique was invented in the 1980’es. The aim of the DTM database is to enable researchers to address innovative research questions related to human milk intake using this unique global dataset.

IAEA Doubly Labelled Water (DLW)

The IAEA Doubly Labelled Water (DLW) Database is a collection of energy expenditure measurements made using the stable isotope method of doubly-labelled water analysis.

IAEA Medical imAGIng and Nuclear mEdicine global resources database (IMAGINE)

IMAGINE is a comprehensive compilation of medical imaging and nuclear medicine resources, with information on resources from over 170 countries and territories. The present version showcases data in world maps and several charts, as well as snapshot of key elements in the growing database.

NUclear Medicine DAtaBase (NUMDAB)

NUMDAB is an information resource on the status of nuclear medicine practice worldwide. The database contains data on individual nuclear medicine facilities and their manpower and equipment, as well as on the isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals they use.

Secondary Standard Dosimetry Laboratory Network database (DOLNET)

The IAEA/WHO Network of Secondary Standards Dosimetry Laboratories (SSDL Network) was established in 1976 as a joint project between the IAEA and the World Health Organization (WHO). At present, it includes 80 laboratories and six SSDL national organizations in 67 Member States, of which over half are developing countries.
