The Secretariat presented proposals for future activities and discussed with a panel of senior regulators from Canada, China, Russia, the UK and the US the key challenges that they are facing in the licensing of these technologies. The feedback from the panellists highlighted good alignment between IAEA proposals and priorities from the regulatory bodies participating in the panel.
