Course on Preparation for Decommissioning

This course addresses the topics that are important in the preparatory phase for the decommissioning; emphasizes and explains the need of having consistent strategy, good planning for decommissioning and detailed inventory. This first part consists of 4 modules. The importance of cost estimation and adequate funding mechanism for decommissioning as well as changing of culture and organizational approach during the transition period from operation to decommissioning are also explained.
