New Quality and Safety Webpage

The International Commission on Radiological Quality and Safety (ICRQS) was established in 2013 by the International Society of Radiology (ISR). The ICRQS is responsible for the radiological quality and safety matters on behalf of the ISR, which is committed to improvements in quality care, patient safety and appropriate use of radiology. It recognizes that radiology resources, issues and solutions differ between regions and settings.

The ISR can access the expertise from its 80+ national and regional member organizations. Informed by the evolving trends, the ISR aims to deliver a unified message on behalf of the radiology community, avoid duplication of existing efforts from members and identify value-adding opportunities.

The Commission’s initial efforts focus on the strengthening of communication with members and stakeholders. Working Groups of Experts were formed and “Quality News” was created on a trial basis as multidisciplinary stakeholder engagement platforms.
