H.E Ms Senate Barbara Masupha, Resident Representative of the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Lesotho, and Mr Hua Liu, IAEA Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Technical Cooperation, signed Lesotho's Country Programme Framework (CPF) for the period of 2024–2029 on 25 September 2023. Lesotho has been an IAEA Member State since 2009. Its 2024–2029 CPF identifies five priority areas:

  1. Nuclear and radiation safety
  2. Food and agriculture
