World leaders are meeting on March 24-25 in the Netherlands for the third Nuclear Security Summit. The event, which is the world's largest summit in the nuclear security field, first took place in 2010 in Washington DC. In The Hague, heads of state and government will meet to chart their accomplishments of the past four years and future directions. The IAEA has been active in the nuclear security field for nearly three decades and is attending the summit as an observer. The Director of the IAEA's Division of Nuclear Security, Khammar Mrabit, discusses the work of his Division.
