World Economic Forum 2024 Affiliated Session on Cancer

The World Economic Forum 2024 Affiliated Session on  “Increasing Access to Cancer Care in Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICS)" is organized by the IAEA and co-hosted with The Lancet Oncology and the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). The event takes place on 17 January 2024 from 11:45 to 12:45 in Davos, Switzerland.  

The purpose of the session is to focus global leaders' attention on the disproportionate and growing cancer burden in LMICs. IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi and key experts will share insights and lead discussions on ways to improve access to cancer care in LMICs.
