The IAEA is organizing the International Conference on Small Modular Reactors and their applications at the IAEA Headquarters in Vienna, Austria from 21 to 25 October 2024.

The conference will bring together potential users and operators, regulatory bodies, relevant industries and technology holders, government officials, technical support organizations, representatives of international organizations, and technical and legal experts working in all areas of SMRs and nuclear power programmes. The conference is also intended for non-governmental organizations and academic institutions. 

It is planned to hold an exhibition from Monday, 21 to Thursday, 24 October 2024 in conjunction with the conference. In the exhibition IAEA Member States, international organizations, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations and vendors of technology may highlight the latest developments in their areas related to SMRs and their applications. 

Interested parties should contact the Scientific Secretariat by e-mail before 30 June 2024 (extended deadline). Further information regarding the exhibition process will be provided to prospective exhibitors once all submissions of interest have been received.
