Conference Venue
The International Conference on Enhancing the Operational Safety of Nuclear Power Plants will be held at the V-Continent Beijing Parkview Wuzhou Hotel in Beijing, China. The Conference will be organized by the IAEA and hosted by the Government of China through the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA).
On-site Registration
To avoid long queues, participants are encouraged to register in person on Sunday, 14 April 2024 from 15:00-18:00 hrs.
China Nuclear Energy Sustainable Development Forum (CNESDF)
Prior to the Opening of the international Conference on Operational Safety 2024 the Spring International Summit will take place at the same venue. All participants are cordiality invited to attend the summit. More information can be found here.

Beijing is a busy and exciting city and affordable accommodation books up early. We recommend you book your accommodation as soon as you know you will be coming to the International Conference on Enhancing the Operational Safety of Nuclear Power Plants 2024.

Visa Information
To apply for a visa, please visit the website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center.
Application processing time
In order to apply for the visa through the Chinese Online Visa Application system, an invitation letter from the host is required. Since the visa application process will take up to 4 weeks, we strongly recommend you make your application latest by 11 March by reaching out to us via email and provide us a copy of your passport.
Visit to China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR)
Following the International Conference on Enhancing the Operational Safety of Nuclear Power Plants the China Nuclear Energy Association have arranged a visit to the China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR) which is located within an hours’ drive from the conference venue.

Only participants who have registered for the International Conference on Enhancing the Operational Safety of Nuclear Power Plants and have been approved by the designated authority will be permitted to participate in the site visit.
