Workshop on Reimagining Nuclear Energy

Building on the successful event entitled Reimagining Nuclear, Inspiring Youth, held during the IAEA International Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Power in the 21st Century, from 26 to 28 October 2022, this event will explore innovative and creative ways to present nuclear energy to various audiences.

Participants will have an opportunity to present their efforts and strategies for creating a new image for nuclear energy, and exchange experiences and lessons learned from engaging and communicating with various groups of stakeholders. The workshop will be highly interactive, offering presentations, panel discussions and hands-on exercises.

The workshop is intended for government officials, nuclear facility operators and other nuclear energy actors who are in charge of the development or implementation of national stakeholder engagement and communication strategies for nuclear power programmes, young nuclear professionals and nuclear advocates.

All persons wishing to participate in the event have to be designated by an IAEA Member State or should be members of organizations that have been invited to attend.
