Press Arrangements for 64th IAEA General Conference, starting 21 September 2020

The 64th Annual Regular Session of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) General Conference, #IAEAGC, will convene from 21 September 2020 at the Vienna International Centre (VIC) in Vienna, Austria. High-ranking officials and representatives from IAEA Member States will consider and make decisions on a range of issues pertaining to the work and the budget of the Agency.

Press Arrangements for IAEA Board of Governors Meeting, 15 June 2020

The IAEA Board of Governors will hold a meeting starting at 10:00 CEST on Monday, 15 June 2020.

Board discussions are expected to include: the Annual Report for 2019; the Technical Cooperation Report for 2019; Verification and monitoring in the Islamic Republic of Iran in light of United Nations Security Council resolution 2231 (2015); the Safeguards Implementation Report for 2019; Application of safeguards in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea; NPT Safeguards Agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran; and the IAEA and the COVID-19 pandemic.

IAEA Conference to Focus on Strengthening Nuclear Security Globally

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will host a ministerial conference next week to discuss how to sustain and strengthen nuclear security around the world and reduce the threat of nuclear and other radioactive material being used for malicious purposes.
