Nuclear power reactors
In a power reactor, a controlled nuclear chain reaction is taking place which releases heat, which is then converted into electricity. Nuclear reactor types include:
- Pressurized water reactor
- Boiling water reactor
- Pressurised heavy-water reactor (CANDU)
- Gas-cooled reactor
- Fast breeder reactor
- Light-water graphite reactor
