Regional Cooperative Agreement for Research, Development and Training Related to Nuclear Science and Technology for Asia and the Pacific (RCA)

RCA is a formal inter-governmental agreement that serves as a framework for Asian Member States to intensify their collaboration through programmes and projects focused on the specific shared needs of its members and to promote and coordinate cooperative research, development, and training projects in nuclear science and technology.

The Regional Cooperative Agreement for Research, Development and Training Related to Nuclear Science and Technology for Asia and the Pacific (RCA) was first established in 1972 under the auspices of the IAEA to promote, coordinate and implement cooperative research, development and training projects in the peaceful application of nuclear science and technology among the RCA parties.
