This course provides specific training in the medical response to a nuclear or radiological emergency and medical management of individuals involved in these emergencies. The target audience for this course are different professionals that could be involved in the medical response to nuclear or radiological emergencies, including (but not limited to) healthcare providers and medical physicists. Medical doctors who already have a basic knowledge of medical response can increase their knowledge in the treatment and medical management.The six online modules are related to generalities; basic concepts on radiation protection; arrangements on medical preparedness and response; and medical management of individuals involved in nuclear or radiological emergencies.
