The World's Uranium Bank for Nuclear Reactors

The International Atomic Energy Agency’s Low Enriched Uranium Bank holds enough energy to power a large city for three years. It serves as a back-up fuel supply for countries that rely on nuclear power. This secure facility was set up by the International Atomic Energy Agency and stores 90 tonnes of low enriched uranium, in case a country is unable to get its nuclear fuel on the open market or by any other means.
