IAEA @COP27: Events and Event Participation
8–16 November 2022, Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt
The #Atoms4Climate COP27 pavilion will offer a rich programme of IAEA and partner events to showcase nuclear science and technology solutions for climate change mitigation, adaptation and monitoring.
The IAEA will run a series of events on six thematic areas: energy, energy innovation, agriculture, food security, oceans and water. These events will demonstrate the facts, initiatives and cooperation that bring the positive impacts of nuclear for climate change.
Partnerships are key to climate change mitigation, adaptation and monitoring. The #Atoms4Climate pavilion will therefore also support the nuclear science and technology community by offering a space for government leaders, associations, civil society, academia, and media, to bring far-reaching debate and to amplify innovative ideas for nuclear science and technology solutions.
A full schedule of IAEA events and further information on the events can be found below by date.
