Plan Rector Regional para la Aplicación del Manejo Integrado de Moscas de la Fruta
The Regional Master Plan for the Application of Integrated Fruit Fly Management based on the Sterile Insect Technique (SIT), addresses the problems caused by fruit flies of economic and quarantine importance, with a special emphasis on the South American fruit fly (Anastrepha fraterculus) and the Mediterranean fruit fly (Ceratitis capitata). The plan therefore proposes close collaboration among South American countries through the creation of a Regional Commission to coordinate fruit fly pest management activities.

Guideline on Phytosanitary Procedures for Area-Wide Management of Fruit Fly Pests
This guideline describes the most widely used classic and modern phytosanitary procedures for the management of fruit flies that infest fruits and vegetables and that are of quarantine and economic importance, specifically species of the genera Anastrepha, Bactrocera, Ceratitis, Dacus, Rhagoletis and Zeugodacus. Pest management can be aimed at the native species of fruit flies or to prevent the introduction, establishment and spread of those non-native species.

Guidelines for mark-release-recapture procedures of Aedes mosquitoess_v2.0.
The protocols presented in these guidelines are the results of lessons from collaborations with Member States preparing SIT pilot trials against Aedes species. They were developed to expose the problems encountered in order to provide useful insights to develop MRR protocols that should be adapted to each situation and research questions.

Guidelines for Mass Rearing and Irradiation of Drosophila suzukii for Sterile Insect Technique Application Version 1.0
The present document describes the standard mass rearing protocols and sterilization procedures currently used at the IPCL. In the first part of the document, we describe the mass rearing oviposition system used at the IPCL and detail the different steps necessary to maintain a SWD laboratory colony, in particular egg collection, larval rearing, and pupae collection. In the second part, we present the pupal irradiation procedure, as well as the method to measure adult sterility level.

General guidelines to facilitate the opening of international markets for fruits and vegetables that are fruit fly hosts based on International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures
The key to opening markets in the World Trade Organization (WTO) Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (the SPS Agreement) and the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) framework, is to focus on the pest risk, and especially on all the factors contributing to risk and mitigating risk. There is often a tendency to begin with legacy concepts and requirements that were based on assumptions of high risk rather than begin with a fresh view of the evidence and an objective analysis of the risk.
