Jean-Luc Urbain, M.D., Ph.D., is a full Professor of Radiology & Nuclear Medicine, since 2018 Chief & Medical Director at Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem (North Carolina). He is the Chair of Radiation Safety Committee, Chair of Radioactive Drug Research Committee and involved in Theranostics Program.
He has worked in nuclear medicine for more than 30 years in three countries. He is a recognized leader in the field and an avid proponent of the discipline’s numerous capabilities. He is past President of the Canadian Association of Nuclear Medicine, and is President-elect of the World Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology.
