The Radiation Protection of Patients Unit of the IAEA is continuing in its successful initiative: free webinars on topics in radiation protection in medical uses of ionizing radiation. The first webinar was broadcasted more than one year ago - in February 2016 and since then the IAEA held already 8 webinars. The recordings from these webinars are available on the RPOP webpage.
The IAEA is glad to present the Series of Joint Webinars on Imaging for Children: Using the Radiation Protection Principles of Image Gently. Next webinar is scheduled for 4 April 2017 at 15:00 CET, on the topic: “Image Gently: Progress and challenges in CT education and advocacy”.
Our new format of the webinar includes more speakers. The presenter will be Prof. Kimberly E. Applegate from University of Kentucky in the United States. The panellists will be Mr. Dean Pekarovic from the University Medical Centre of Ljubljana in Slovenia, and Ms. Henra Muller and Ms. Caren Swanepoel, Clinical Imaging Science from Universitas Hospital Bloemfontein in South Africa.
