Nuclear Medicine Physicians Self-Assessment

E-learning Course

Nuclear medicine is a rapidly evolving and fast-growing field. It is essential for professionals to keep up to date with dynamic developments to ensure their competencies are maintained. Such continuing professional development presents challenges, first and foremost recognizing one’s own strengths and weaknesses. Aiming to support nuclear medicine professionals of various degrees of expertise, the International Atomic Energy Agency, Section of Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging has developed a self-assessment tool.

This self-assessment comprehensively approaches all nuclear medicine applications and is particularly suitable for seniors wanting to refresh their knowledge and skills as well as juniors preparing for licensure examinations. Included are questions on diagnostic procedures (including SPECT, PET, and hybrid imaging) as well as questions devoted to the ever-growing area of radionuclide therapies.

Following registration and log-in, the applicant can access 30 randomly assigned questions per attempt. If at least 25 questions are answered correctly within one hour, a certificate of successful completion is provided.

How to access
