The new programme cycle starts on 1 January of the year following Board approval of the programme. National projects within the new cycle are initiated upon payment of National Participation Costs (NPCs) by the recipient Member State. Least developed countries are exempt from payment of NPCs.
While the new TC programme is being implemented, the preparation for the next two year programme starts as part of the continuous programme cycle. Projects within the programme can be national, regional or interregional, and can have a duration of up to four years. Read more.
