NUCLEUS information resources

The IAEA's NUCLEUS information resource portal provides access to over 100 scientific, technical and regulatory resources, including databases, applications, publications and training material. As it is mainly meant for IAEA counterparts in the government, industry and scientific community, NUCLEUS hosts a number of resources that require registration. Many sites, however, can be accessed without a password.

Research Network of Marine-Coastal Stressors in Latin America and the Caribbean (REMARCO)

The Research Network of Marine-Coastal Stressors in Latin America and the Caribbean (REMARCO) was created in 2018 with the support of IAEA technical cooperation projects. The network provides a unique space for the Latin America and Caribbean experts and institutions to share experiences, capabilities, information, protocols, and common practices addressing vulnerabilities of marine-coastal ecosystems such as chemical and microplastic pollution, harmful algal blooms, eutrophication, ocean acidification and challenges like assessing blue carbon inventories, among others.

Research Reactor Database (RRDB)

The IAEA's Research Reactor Database (RRDB) is an authoritative database containing technical information on over 800 research reactors, including critical and sub-critical assemblies in 67 countries.

Research Reactor Material Properties Database

​The RRMPDB is a compilation of reports on properties of structural and component materials used in research reactor cores.

Safeguards Support Programme Information and Communication System (SPRICS)

SPRICS gives Safeguards Member State Support Programme stakeholders access to task proposal information, task information, meeting information, and point of contact information.

SAGSI on Nucleus – Standing Advisory Group on Safeguards Implementation (SAGSI)

SAGSI advises the IAEA Director General on the technical aspects of IAEA safeguards.

Spallation Models

This site provides access to the IAEA Benchmark of Spallation Models.

Spent Fuel and Radioactive Waste Information System (SRIS)

The Spent Fuel and Radioactive Waste Information System (SRIS) contains information on national spent fuel and radioactive waste management programmes, spent fuel and radioactive waste inventories and facilities, as well as relevant laws and regulations, policies, plans and activities.

Staff Reporting Suite (STARS)

STARS is a self-service portal for IAEA Member States and their representatives, enabling them to access statistical information on their nationals working at the Agency. It also contains resources on recruitment and outreach programmes, as well as links to HR-related documents on GovAtom.  

State Declarations Portal (SDP)

The State Declarations Portal (SDP) is a web-based system that supports secure bi-directional information exchange between States or Regional Authorities and the IAEA.

Stopping Power

This resource gives access to a collection of data, graphs and computer programmes dealing with the ranges of various ions (from protons to uranium) in materials.

TC PRIDE

The Technical Cooperation Project Information Dissemination Environment (TC-PRIDE) system provides detailed information about all ongoing and completed technical cooperation projects, as well as various summary financial reports.

TC Programme Cycle Management Framework

The PCMF is a platform for users to develop and manage IAEA technical cooperation projects from project concept submission through project design, approval, implementation and evaluation.
