The IAEA has launched an iSupplier portal, a secure, self-service, web-based solution for use by commercial suppliers for on-line tendering and invoicing management.
The new application enables suppliers to register and perform certain self-service data maintenance, as well as respond to requests for proposals and other tenders. Suppliers can access live data, check the status of the solicitations that have been sent directly to them, submit offers in response to IAEA solicitations and, in the event of award, submit invoices and track payment status.
"The iSupplier portal will provide a single access point for suppliers, making the process smoother for our partners," said Neris Baez Garcia de Mazzora, Director of the IAEA's Office of Procurement Services.
This new platform will not only lead to more efficient tender and invoice processes, but will also facilitate enhanced communication, transparency and visibility, Ms Baez Garcia de Mazzora added.
With the launch of the iSupplier portal the IAEA will progressively phase out other channels of submission of offers and invoices. Suppliers are therefore encouraged to register via the portal as soon as possible. A navigation guide and training material is available to registered users.
