Objectives
To assist Member States in the Asia and Pacific region in establishing and maintaining adequate national legal frameworks for the safe, secure and peaceful use of nuclear energy and ionizing radiation, in line with the relevant international legal instruments, IAEA safety standards and guidance documents, through legislative assistance and training in nuclear law.
