IAEA Issues Annual Report to U.N.

United Nations General Assembly hall in New York City.

On 5 November 2012 at the United Nations headquarters in New York, the United Nations General Assembly considered the annual agenda item on the Report of the IAEA and then adopted the corresponding resolution (A/67/3) without a vote.

Due to Hurricane Sandy, the Director General could not be in New York to introduce the Report of the IAEA and deliver his statement in person, which was issued as a UN official document (A/67/152/Add.1). The full text of the Director General's statement is available here.
