Water experts from around the world are meeting from 20-21 September in Vienna, Austria, to discuss how nuclear techniques can help tackle some of the earth's most pressing water challenges. The event is being organised by the IAEA within the framework of its annual General Conference. IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano discusses the purpose of the Scientific Forum and the role of the IAEA in addressing water issues.
