IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano visited Albania from 14-15 July 2011, meeting with the Prime Minister of Albania, Sali Berisha and other top government officials. In an interview with the Albanian TV channel, RTSH, he discussed the purpose of his visit, namely issues related to human health and cancer control and Albania's on-going cooperation with the Agency in fields of technical assistance, nuclear safety and security.
