IAEA Board of Governors to Convene Meeting on North Korea

The IAEA Board of Governors will convene on 12 February 2003 at 15:00. The Board will discuss a report by the IAEA Director General, Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei on the implementation of the NPT safeguards agreement between the Agency and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

At the conclusion of a meeting, Dr. ElBaradei will hold a press conference.

Time: 18:00 or at the close of the meeting if the meeting ends after 18:00.

Location: IAEA Headquarters, Vienna International Centre, Wagramer Strasse 5, 1400 Vienna, in the Rotunda.

Photo-Op: Pooled photo material will be available from the opening of the Board meeting. Information on the pool and how to obtain the material will be provided on Wednesday morning.
