4, Monday. IAEA Board of Governors Convenes March Meeting. The IAEA Board of Governors began its first meeting of the year at the Agency's headquarters in Vienna, Austria. The 35-nation Board will discuss various issues, including the Implementation of the NPT Safeguards Agreement in the Syrian Arab Republic. Director General Yukiya Amano opened the meeting with a statement. He also briefed the media following the opening of the Board meeting.
