4, Monday. IAEA Board of Governors Convenes March Meeting. The IAEA Board of Governors began its first meeting of the year at the Agency's headquarters in Vienna, Austria. The 35-nation Board will discuss various issues, including the Application of Safeguards in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Director General Yukiya Amano opened the meeting with a statement. He also briefed the media following the opening of the Board meeting. 12, Tuesday. IAEA Says DPRK Nuclear Test "Deeply Regrettable". IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano expressed deep regret about the announcement that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has conducted a third test of a nuclear weapon. Press Release
