The Agreement^1/ between the Republic of Argentina, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Brazilian-Argentine Agency for Accountig and Control of Nuclear Materials and the International Atomic Energy Agency for the Application of Safeguards came into force on 4 March 1994.
As a result of the coming into force of the aforesaid Agreement for Argentina, the application of safeguards under the Agreement^2/ of 22 July 1977 between Argentina and the IAEA for the application of safeguards in connection with a co-operation agreement between Argentina and Canada has been suspended.
